Adjectives Adjetivos  
  Adjectives are words used to describe people, things, events etc. They are used in connection with nouns and pronouns Los adjetivos son palabras que se usan para describir personas, cosas, sucesos etc. Se usan relacionados a sustantivos y pronombres.  
       
  Adjectives can be used in two ways:  Los adjetivos se pueden usar de dos formas:  
       
  1) before nouns: (attributive position) 1) antes del sustantivo: (posición atributiva)  
  examples:     a nice day ejemplos:       un día lindo  
                     an old song                      una vieja canción  
                      a blue sky                      un cielo azul  
                     a young man                      un hombre joven  
       
  2) in the complement of a sentence -after some verbs like is , seem, look, and a few other verbs-   (predicative position) 2) en el complemento de la oración - seguido de algunos verbos como ser, estar, parecer y algunos otros verbos- (posición predicativa)  
  examples: ejemplos:  
                She is beautiful                Ella es hermosa  
                He is old                Es viejo  
                It seems all right                Parece correcto  
                They look tired                Lucen cansados
