Introduction                                   

 This Web page is intended for students of English who want to study step by step using the grammar of the language and the equivalent translation to Spanish. As for the level of the contents, the aim is intended mainly for elementary students who have already studied some basic structures and want to make progress with their studies. These following pages are not suitable for upper intermediate students or advanced ones.
 


 

Introducción

Esta página Web está dirigida a estudiantes de inglés que quieran hacer sus estudios paso a paso mediante el uso de la gramática del idioma y su equivalente traducción al castellano. En cuanto al nivel de los contenidos, están dirigidos a estudiantes de nivel elemental que ya hayan estudiado algunas estructuras básicas y quieran progresar en sus estudios del idioma. Las páginas siguientes no son adecuadas para estudiantes superiores al nivel intermedio ni para estudiantes avanzados.

How the Web page is organized:

There are a number of grammatical points organized in units which will lead to other points if they are related (some problems are covered in more than one unit). Every learner has different problems with the language, so you should use this site according to your needs.The contents of this site will be published little by little. This intends to be a self study reference for my secondary school students; if you are not  one of them, welcome too whoever you are....The whole page is  under construction and of course it will take a while.Sorry if it  takes a long time.

Hay un número de puntos gramaticales organizados en unidades las cuales llevarán a otros puntos si tienen relación con el tema ( algunos problemas se cubrirán en más de una unidad). Cada estudiante posee diferentes dificultades con el idioma, por ende, utilice usted este sitio de acuerdo a sus necesidades. Los contenidos de este sitio serán publicados de a poco. Esta página intenta ser una referencia de auto aprendizaje para mis alumnos de la escuela secundaria; si usted no es uno de ellos, bienvenido quienquiera que sea usted.....La totalidad de la página está en construcción, y  por lo tanto tomará algo de tiempo. Disculpe si lleva mucho  tiempo

How to use this web page: 

  • Use the section of grammar to find the unit that deals with the point you are interested in.

  • When you read a translation, take a look at the differences between the languages.

  • Click on the links that lead you to the exercises.

  • If your answers are not correct, go through the explanation and try to do the exercises again. Or you can take a look at the key, and then click back and see what went wrong.

  • Utilice la sección de gramática para buscar la unidad que contenga los temas que le interesen.

  • Cuando lea la traducción de algún punto, observe las diferencias entre los idiomas.

  • Haga clic en los vínculos que lo lleven a los ejercicios.

  • Si sus respuestas no fuesen correctas,  vuelva a revisar las explicaciones; luego intente hacer los ejercicios de nuevo. Alternativamente puede echar una mirada a la sección de respuestas y retroceder para ver dónde estuvo el problema.

The animated gifs used in this page are free to use. I have been collecting them throughout the years for the writing of the course. Some have been posted to me by friends or by students. If you know that some of them are copyrighted and you want me to remove them, I will take them off my site immediatelly. I will simply find the one I have to change and I will replace it or them for other ones.  I sincerely hope this course help to improve your English....It is the primary goal of this page, that somebody in some far off place might learn a bit of English with the help of translations and animations.
