The simple present 2 Other uses.

Since the present simple is the most important tense in English (it is used more often than the rest of the tenses) we will continue with other uses of this tense.

Dado que el presente simple es el tiempo más importante en inglés (se usa más a menudo que los demás tiempos verbales) continuaremos con otros usos de este tiempo verbal.

1) There are some verbs that do not indicate actions: verbs that cannot commonly be used in progressive tenses in certain of their meanings. For now, we are only going to include verbs such as like, love, hate, think, believe etc.

2 Another use of the present simple is to talk about things in general: actions or situations that happen repeatedly, or at any time or all the time. It is not important if the action is happening now.

2 Otro de los usos del presente simple es para hablar de cosas en general: acciones o situaciones que suceden en forma reiterada, en cualquier momento o todo el tiempo. No es importante si están sucediendo en este momento.
